Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience managing information technology projects.
- Advanced project management skills with proven ability to define objectives, manage scope, schedule resources, track timelines, and deliver projects.
- Experience managing multiple IT projects, priorities, workstreams, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience with project governance, portfolio reporting, project intake, prioritization, and executive-level status communication.
- Broad understanding of information technology disciplines, including IT operations, service management, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and automation.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects and coordinating resources across IT, Security, Operations, Finance, HR, and vendors.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using project metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with change management practices, adoption planning, stakeholder readiness, and post-implementation review.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of internal Information Technology projects that support scalability, automation, operational efficiency, and business transformation initiatives.
- Lead internal IT projects through the full lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and closeout.
- Facilitate project intake, prioritization, and planning activities in partnership with IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Partner with IT leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to define scope, success criteria, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Establish and maintain project governance practices, including status cadence, decision tracking, escalation paths, and stakeholder accountability.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, RAID logs, decision records, and required project documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Monitor project progress, manage scope, track milestones, and proactively resolve risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources and workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and communication.
- Support change management activities, including stakeholder readiness, communications, adoption planning, and post-implementation review.
- Lead lessons-learned activities and identify opportunities to improve delivery practices.
