Requirements
- Strong knowledge of AWS, including networking, relational database management, and cloud storage.
- Experience operating and tuning PostgreSQL or similar relational databases in production.
- Experience deploying containerized applications.
- Working knowledge of Github Actions and Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting with bash, ruby, or python.
- Ability to break down complex tasks and document solutions.
- Experience with AWS ECS/EKS Fargate.
- Experience operating or tuning OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters.
- Reside permanently and currently in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Build solutions in AWS that keep web and mobile applications running.
- Collaborate with product engineers to deploy new features.
- Improve existing infrastructure for reliability, resiliency, and security.
- Perform database operations and performance tuning.
- Manage search infrastructure (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
- Maintain observability and monitoring.
- Scale and harden systems.
- Analyze existing systems to identify improvements.
