Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience interfacing with major benefits consulting and/or brokerage firms.
  • Understanding of how consultants shape employer decisions.
  • Proven ability to build influential relationships that translate into business outcomes.
  • Strong business development skills, including prospecting and multi-threading relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort operating in a metrics-driven, revenue-accountable role.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Self-starter mindset with high ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a territory plan that drives consistent consultant engagement and generates net-new, consultant-referred opportunities.
  • Develop and expand senior relationships across priority consulting firms and regional offices.
  • Identify and cultivate key stakeholders including practice leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Deliver consultant-ready messaging through meetings, demos, and educational events.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align consultant strategies with account priorities.
  • Strengthen presence within consulting firm vendor programs and facilitate executive alignment.
  • Plan and execute targeted events designed to deepen relationships and create pipeline.
  • Maintain operational rigor, track activity, and ensure forecasting accuracy in CRM.
