Requirements
- 6+ years of experience interfacing with major benefits consulting and/or brokerage firms.
- Understanding of how consultants shape employer decisions.
- Proven ability to build influential relationships that translate into business outcomes.
- Strong business development skills, including prospecting and multi-threading relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort operating in a metrics-driven, revenue-accountable role.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Self-starter mindset with high ownership.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory plan that drives consistent consultant engagement and generates net-new, consultant-referred opportunities.
- Develop and expand senior relationships across priority consulting firms and regional offices.
- Identify and cultivate key stakeholders including practice leaders and subject matter experts.
- Deliver consultant-ready messaging through meetings, demos, and educational events.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align consultant strategies with account priorities.
- Strengthen presence within consulting firm vendor programs and facilitate executive alignment.
- Plan and execute targeted events designed to deepen relationships and create pipeline.
- Maintain operational rigor, track activity, and ensure forecasting accuracy in CRM.
