Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Engineering.
- 15 years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Established network within the AEC industry strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of professional services procurement processes (RFP/RFQ, proposals, bidding, award).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-driven and ethical practice.
- Comfortable with prospecting and consultative selling.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and pursuits simultaneously.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute to team culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage client relationships through proactive outreach and strategic research.
- Lead business development efforts and targeted project pursuits.
- Develop and execute an annual sales plan in collaboration with the Client Relations EVP.
- Identify and develop partnerships with organizations with a gap in technology services.
- Engage in Leadership Team meetings to contribute to strategic firm initiatives.
- Gather market intelligence and identify new client and channel partners.
- Prepare detailed client organization maps and identify key decision-makers.
- Provide regular updates on business development activities using CRM tools.
- Coach and provide feedback to technical leaders on consultative selling behaviors.
