Requirements
- Demonstrable experience operating at staff or principal level
- Deep backend engineering expertise
- Track record of designing and building distributed systems at scale
- Solid understanding of payments infrastructure or developer platform engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Python (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Setting and driving the technical strategy across the Partners engineering teams
- Owning the design of core backend services for high-performance distributed systems
- Acting as the technical authority on partner integrations
- Leading and influencing engineers across teams through code, design reviews, and technical mentorship
- Spotting and resolving cross-team technical dependencies
- Driving adoption of modern engineering practices (BDD, TDD, documentation)
- Partnering with Product to shape roadmap decisions
