Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years producing CAD drawings for AV, low-voltage, or systems integration projects.
- Mastery of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and related documentation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in virtual design and coordination meetings.
- Create and update CAD drawings (schematics, diagrams, elevations, layouts).
- Collaborate on building layouts, cable conveyance, power requirements, and signal formats.
- Apply drafting standards, cable color codes, and labeling best practices.
- Create and review Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Conduct quality reviews of designs and produce installation-ready documentation.
- Maintain red-line changes and support engineering teams through project lifecycles.
