Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
- Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
- Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
- Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers.
- Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.
- Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms.
- Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
- Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations.
- Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning and asynchronous design.
- Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications and middleware.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
