Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with active licensure
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in diabetes education, nutrition counseling, or related clinical care
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of diabetes management, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and evidence based patient education
- Experience educating patients on diabetes medications and technologies
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy best practices
- Reliable computer with webcam, microphone, and high speed internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a remote team of 10 to 15 Diabetes Educators and Dietitians
- Conduct regular one on one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and documentation quality
- Ensure clinical team remains current on diabetes care guidelines
- Provide virtual patient care through diabetes education and nutrition counseling
- Develop individualized care plans for patients
- Partner with leadership to implement strategic initiatives
- Analyze KPIs and provide recommendations to optimize care delivery
