Requirements
- Pursuing a B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, C++, or Rust.
- Proficiency with Git and basic Linux command line.
- Interest in debugging and troubleshooting distributed system failures.
- Understanding of operating systems, networking, and concurrency concepts.
- Experience with Docker, containers, or public cloud platforms.
- Basic knowledge of web protocols like HTTP and DNS.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Basic familiarity with Kubernetes or Helm.
Responsibilities
- Apply Kubernetes fundamentals including deployments, services, and cluster state management.
- Contribute to Go or Python services through backend development and bug fixes.
- Improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by updating Terraform modules and documentation.
- Develop internal tooling and enhance diagnostic scripts for customer clusters.
- Implement observability practices by adding metrics, logs, and trace spans.
- Collaborate with senior/staff engineers on complex orchestration and queue management tasks.
- Practice full lifecycle ownership: requirement clarification, implementation, and validation.
