Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE-focused roles.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management, including building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure and tools such as Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD systems.
- Experience operating production systems in high-availability and on-call environments.
- Ability to define technical strategy across infrastructure and developer experience domains.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business impact.
- Comfortable integrating AI tools into daily workflows to enhance development, debugging, and learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of platform engineers across infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and developer experience, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Define and drive platform architecture and technical roadmap, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment systems, and operational tooling within a regulated production environment.
- Build and champion AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows to automate repetitive tasks and improve engineering productivity.
- Improve developer experience by reducing friction across onboarding, deployment, and local-to-production workflows.
- Own incident management processes, on-call sustainability, and postmortem practices to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with product engineering, security, and compliance teams to align platform initiatives with business objectives and risk requirements.
