Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention, customer growth, or related functions within high-growth DTC or ecommerce businesses.
- Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in customer lifetime value, repeat purchase behavior, retention, and profitability.
- Strong understanding of customer economics, including incrementality, cohort analysis, contribution margin, payback periods, and financial forecasting.
- Experience building scalable lifecycle systems, including automation frameworks, segmentation strategies, testing programs, and personalized customer journeys.
- Proficiency with business intelligence, attribution, and analytics tools such as Omni, Northbeam, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives that influence acquisition, merchandising, product, and customer experience strategies.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the lifecycle function with direct responsibility for customer lifetime value, repeat purchase behavior, retention performance, contribution margin, and cohort quality.
- Develop and execute a long-term lifecycle strategy designed to improve customer engagement, retention, reactivation, onboarding, and cross-category expansion.
- Define lifecycle KPIs and establish measurement frameworks tied to business and financial outcomes rather than channel-attributed revenue alone.
- Build and optimize lifecycle architecture, including customer segmentation, automation systems, personalization strategies, and multi-channel orchestration.
- Design and oversee testing frameworks related to pricing, promotions, incentives, discounting strategies, and customer offer optimization.
- Partner closely with finance and data teams to develop forecasting models, incrementality analysis, cohort reporting, and performance insights.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve customer journey performance, including onboarding flows, product merchandising alignment, and website conversion.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing lifecycle team.
