Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in surplus lines tax filing or insurance compliance.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client communications by responding to emails, inquiries, billing questions, and payment confirmations.
  • Prepare, process, and distribute surplus lines tax reports, tax payments, and filing confirmations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with state regulators to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support backend operational workflows with accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide to team members.
  • Act as an escalation point for client and operational issues.
