Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in surplus lines tax filing or insurance compliance.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage client communications by responding to emails, inquiries, billing questions, and payment confirmations.
- Prepare, process, and distribute surplus lines tax reports, tax payments, and filing confirmations.
- Communicate and coordinate with state regulators to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support backend operational workflows with accuracy and proper documentation.
- Serve as a mentor and guide to team members.
- Act as an escalation point for client and operational issues.
