Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Psychiatry
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Georgia medical license
- DEA license for Georgia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings
- Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, and families
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
- Stay current on the latest developments in psychiatric care
