Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering-adjacent roles.
- Strong SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries).
- Experience building dashboards or self-service analytics assets.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, grain).
- Ability to own projects independently and communicate with technical/non-technical audiences.
- Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, and BI platforms like Omni or Power BI.
- Experience with insurance/healthcare/benefits data.
- Familiarity with data governance or regulated environments.
- Experience using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and development.
Responsibilities
- Own cross-functional analytics projects.
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, Product, Member Experience, and leadership teams.
- Design, build, test, and document dbt models.
- Use advanced SQL in BigQuery to optimize queries and support production reporting.
- Build and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics in Omni and/or Power BI.
- Define business metrics and reconcile conflicting data.
- Monitor Fivetran-fed data pipelines and troubleshoot reporting defects.
- Lead stakeholder discovery and define requirements.
- Use AI tools like Claude to automate workflows and accelerate SQL development.
