Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
- 10+ years of demonstrated technical, IT, or Operations experience
- Experience in Software Development, Application Support, and Infrastructure Support
- 5+ years of experience leading business development lifecycle and planning
- Proven successful track record in proposal writing
- Knowledge of infrastructure and application software deployment methodologies
- Experience explaining technical data in simple language
- Ability to conceptualize graphics to convey solution concepts
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
Responsibilities
- Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract content details and review technical written sections with SMEs for accuracy
- Work closely with the business development team to understand client requirements to develop customer-focused solutions
- Work closely with the proposal manager, volume lead, and graphic artist to ensure content is responsive and compelling
- Utilize proposal source files and research methods to write technical, management, past performance, and executive summaries
- Collect feedback during reviews and update drafts throughout the process
- Translate complex information gathered into clear, concise, and persuasive content
- Conduct intel research, gather data, and analyze and validate customer requirements
- Participate in proposal kick-offs and proposal status meetings
