Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Data Operations, IT Operations, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data operations, IT operations, or similar technical environments.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, or operational initiatives.
- Strong expertise in data pipelines, ETL processes, database systems, and data integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, orchestration frameworks, and ETL solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems, logging platforms, incident management processes, and operational troubleshooting.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS SQL, JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily data operations, including ETL pipelines, integrations, data workflows, and operational monitoring activities.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, compliance, security, and timely delivery across all operational processes and stakeholder interactions.
- Define and implement scalable data management policies, governance standards, and operational best practices.
- Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives by translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and operational plans.
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive action strategies to improve system reliability and performance.
- Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and reporting processes while presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, vendors, and risk mitigation activities across multiple operational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for operational optimization and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, procedures, and operational workflows.
