Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in Windows and Linux server administration in hybrid environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Solid SQL expertise, particularly in MSSQL and PostgreSQL; MongoDB experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery processes, backup strategies, and system resilience practices.
- Exposure to orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience with automation and scheduling tools such as Rundeck.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Administer, optimize, and secure databases, including MSSQL and PostgreSQL, while supporting MongoDB.
- Execute database operations such as backups, recovery, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Implement and enhance security measures, server configurations, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate tasks, maintain workflows (e.g., Rundeck), and support Kubernetes-based services.
- Provide support for production systems, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure detailed documentation.
