Requirements

  • 9+ years of corporate FP&A and/or consulting experience.
  • Experience with middle-market Private Equity owned businesses.
  • Experience addressing the unique requirements of the middle-market consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow dynamics, debt structures, and covenant reporting.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced expertise of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies.
  • Lead the implementation of a financial management capability, including multi-year financial modeling.
  • Prepare financial management reports comparing actuals to budgets/forecasts.
  • Build or modify analytical resources, tools, and models to enhance decision-making.
  • Review and assist with treasury activities including 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives and Private Equity sponsors.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions for clients.
  • Participate in business development opportunities to generate new client work.
  • Mentor team members, providing coaching and regular performance reviews.
