Requirements
- 9+ years of corporate FP&A and/or consulting experience.
- Experience with middle-market Private Equity owned businesses.
- Experience addressing the unique requirements of the middle-market consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of cash flow dynamics, debt structures, and covenant reporting.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
- Advanced expertise of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies.
- Lead the implementation of a financial management capability, including multi-year financial modeling.
- Prepare financial management reports comparing actuals to budgets/forecasts.
- Build or modify analytical resources, tools, and models to enhance decision-making.
- Review and assist with treasury activities including 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives and Private Equity sponsors.
- Contribute to developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions for clients.
- Participate in business development opportunities to generate new client work.
- Mentor team members, providing coaching and regular performance reviews.
