- Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial modeling
- Understanding of software business models and M&A transaction lifecycle
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Identify and source software businesses that meet acquisition criteria
- Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns via email and outbound calls
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective acquisition targets and sell-side investment banking firms
- Lead preliminary evaluations and initial financial due diligence
- Own and manage a robust deal pipeline
- Conduct industry and market research to identify trends
- Review and analyze investment materials into actionable insights
- Drive acquisition opportunities through the full deal lifecycle
