- Five years experience in organizational management and leading software development teams.
- Strong familiarity with software development processes.
- Spiritual leadership and ability to lead within a mission-focused context.
- Analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in change and conflict management.
- Ability to share information clearly through oral and written means.
Responsibilities
- Defining LangTech services and products, identifying new ones, and improving development processes.
- Strengthening existing funding and revenue streams and/or identifying new ones for Language Technology tools and services.
- Reorganizing LangTech operations and budgeting for greater functional alignment.
- Expanding the LangTech workforce through open collaboration and recruiting.
- Representing SIL in the Language Development and Bible translation technology communities.
- Clarifying and strengthening service relationships with SIL Areas and partners.
