Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering, AI engineering, platform engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise software development.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and modern data platform patterns.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI patterns (RAG, agents, model serving, vector search, etc.).
- Ability to work directly with clients and translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives and technical teams.
- Comfort moving from strategy to architecture to hands-on development.
- Databricks certification or deep hands-on delivery experience preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in consulting, forward deployed engineering, or technical pre-sales.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to identify high-value data and AI use cases.
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade data and AI solutions using Databricks capabilities.
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business workflows and success criteria.
- Architect AI-native data platforms supporting agentic workflows, semantic analytics, and model deployment.
- Build Genie rooms, semantic layers, and AI applications for operational insight.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Create prototypes, demos, and reusable accelerators.
- Help clients modernize data pipelines and implement governance patterns.
- Develop thought leadership and internal enablement materials.
