Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 15+ years progressive experience with health plans or payer contracting within value-based care.
  • 7+ years experience managing and leading teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Commercially insured populations.
  • Results-oriented with influence skills.
  • Proven track record of creating and enhancing senior-level relationships.
  • Expertise in business development at local and national levels.
  • Passion for the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Commercial segment within the Strategic Payer Partnerships team.
  • Lead the evaluation and negotiation of value-based care contracts for Commercial members.
  • Qualify and source market growth for multi-year risk arrangements.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to shape value-based contracting strategy.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead, direct, and evaluate a team of senior leaders (Manager to Sr. Director).
  • Lead the evaluation and negotiation of health plan network participation agreements.
  • Build and deliver external facing materials for network participation agreements.
