Requirements
- 10–18 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Windows and macOS endpoint management.
- Deep knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with MDM solutions like Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
- Proficiency in network administration including SD-WAN, VPN, and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security tools (Defender, Sentinel).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Python.
- Ability to work independently in a lean, international team environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with UK-based stakeholders.
- Experience in life sciences or startup environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the IT infrastructure, covering cloud environments, endpoint management, networking, and SaaS platforms for operations in India and the UK.
- Set up, administer, and support Windows and macOS systems, including device lifecycle management.
- Manage MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf) to enforce policies and ensure device compliance.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 suite including identity governance, Conditional Access, and PIM.
- Develop and implement Zero Trust security models and evaluate security posture via Defender and Sentinel.
- Lead incident response and IT risk management aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Manage network infrastructure including SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Drive automation efforts using PowerShell, Python, or Power Platform.
- Handle IT budgeting, vendor contracts, procurement, and asset management.
- Maintain IT policies, documentation, and audit readiness for regulatory standards.
