Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, or accounting systems analysis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Experience with ERP platforms (Workday Financials preferred)
- Familiarity with SDLC
- Familiarity with SOX compliance
- Experience with testing protocols for financial systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with Accounting, Engineering, and Finance stakeholders to support system implementations and improvements across ERP and revenue systems
- Run the extraction, analysis, and validation of large data sets using advanced SQL to support reconciliation, reporting, and automation
- Translate accounting requirements into scalable system solutions and process improvements for core processes
- Lead and support system user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and handle post-implementation stabilization
- Build and automate workflows that improve efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and ensure financial data integrity
- Document key system processes, data flows, and reporting logic
- Contribute to month-end close by supporting automated journal entries, data validation, and reporting
- Support audit activities by preparing system-related documentation and data
- Maintain and improve internal controls and SOX documentation for system processes
