Requirements
- Experience in medical scheduling, intake coordination, or healthcare VA roles.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, messaging).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of taking ownership of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for assigned scheduling line and serve as coverage resource.
- Monitor scheduling processes across lines for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure timely scheduling for clinicians across multiple locations.
- Manage appointment changes, mass reschedules, and cancellations.
- Process clinician time-off and comp time requests.
- Manage new client intake and insurance verification.
- Oversee and maintain tracking tools (Appointment Tracker, Call Logs, Admin Weekly Updates).
- Lead onboarding and training for newly hired schedulers.
- Assist with deposit tracking and copay coordination.
- Perform general administrative tasks and office setup.
