Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience working with identity providers such as Okta or Azure Active Directory and managing RBAC models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into clear, actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and cloud workloads.
- Monitor and maintain cloud security configurations, including IAM policies, security groups, container security, and serverless environments.
- Operate and troubleshoot on-premises security tools such as firewalls, EDR solutions, and virtualization security systems.
- Manage identity and access systems, including SSO, MFA, RBAC models, and privileged access management tools.
- Support incident response activities including investigation, containment, documentation, and post-incident analysis.
- Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions to streamline security operations.
- Assist in compliance efforts by gathering evidence and supporting audits for frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
