Requirements
- Doctorate degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA with substantial clinical experience).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related functions.
- Strong expertise in neuroscience, with neuromuscular disease experience highly preferred.
- Proven experience leading clinical research initiatives, including protocol development.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, patient recruitment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience engaging with medical experts, investigators, and professional societies.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead medical strategy and execution for assigned neuroscience programs, particularly within neuromuscular disease areas.
- Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development, and Global teams.
- Design and oversee clinical research activities, including clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with medical experts, investigators, and professional organizations.
- Drive advisory boards, scientific engagement initiatives, and insight-gathering activities.
- Support development and review of promotional and non-promotional materials and field force training.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to leverage data and AI-driven approaches for medical insights.
- Contribute to innovative scientific communication initiatives.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance.
