Requirements
- Doctoral degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent scientific/medical degree).
- 7+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or related healthcare leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of neuroscience, rare disease, clinical development programs, and healthcare systems impacting trial execution and patient access.
- Proven experience working within complex, matrixed, and cross-functional environments while driving strategic initiatives to execution.
- Customer-facing experience in roles such as Medical Science Liaison, Medical Director, or clinical research leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational leadership capabilities across multiple initiatives and teams.
- Ability to travel extensively (60–70%) across a broad geographic territory and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of field medical clinical trial acceleration strategies aligned with therapeutic area priorities and organizational goals.
- Drive recruitment and referral initiatives to support successful trial enrollment and execution across neuroscience and rare disease programs.
- Translate clinical and medical strategies into actionable field initiatives that improve investigator engagement and site performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, clinical development, operations, training, and scientific communication teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Develop and implement communication plans, field tools, and training programs that support clinical trial execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate field insights and intelligence to internal teams to improve strategic decision-making and trial outcomes.
- Simplify and streamline communication processes across field medical and clinical trial stakeholders to improve collaboration and operational efficiency.
- Coach and support field medical teams on trial-related initiatives, best practices, and innovative approaches to site engagement and trial acceleration.
