Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or related leadership roles
  • Proven success building and scaling business lines, products, or consulting services in banking, fintech, or credit union environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Expertise in underwriting strategies and fraud mitigation best practices
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Expertise in digital engagement authentication, identity verification, and risk control implementation
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and launch of a new fraud prevention and risk mitigation business line
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with financial institutions, technology vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in fraud prevention, identity verification, and risk management
  • Drive the implementation of advanced technologies, including AI-driven analytics and digital authentication tools
  • Ensure all programs and services remain compliant with regulatory standards
  • Develop customer-focused initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce fraud-related losses
