Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 payroll modules.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Cognos) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and data flow between systems.
  • Experience across payroll-related finance modules such as payroll accounting, labor allocation, or billing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience supporting UAT testing and collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting or analytics in a multinational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll activities using PeopleSoft 9.2, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and employee compensation.
  • Prepare and post payroll accounting journal entries, including earnings and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll systems by inputting, validating, and reconciling employee and payroll data.
  • Generate payroll reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for stakeholders and management review.
  • Support payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation, including data dictionaries, process guides, and audit records.
  • Participate in UAT testing, including test script creation, execution, and issue resolution.
  • Support payroll governance activities, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Contribute to data extraction, system configuration, and process improvements.
  • Assist in onboarding new countries or transitions into payroll processes and systems.
