Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 payroll modules.
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Cognos) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and data flow between systems.
- Experience across payroll-related finance modules such as payroll accounting, labor allocation, or billing is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience supporting UAT testing and collaborating with technical and business teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting or analytics in a multinational environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll activities using PeopleSoft 9.2, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and employee compensation.
- Prepare and post payroll accounting journal entries, including earnings and deductions.
- Maintain payroll systems by inputting, validating, and reconciling employee and payroll data.
- Generate payroll reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for stakeholders and management review.
- Support payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in maintaining documentation, including data dictionaries, process guides, and audit records.
- Participate in UAT testing, including test script creation, execution, and issue resolution.
- Support payroll governance activities, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional coordination.
- Contribute to data extraction, system configuration, and process improvements.
- Assist in onboarding new countries or transitions into payroll processes and systems.
