Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in managing enterprise-grade applications in production
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex systems
- Familiarity with observability tools, logging, and monitoring practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and production support
Responsibilities
- Act as first responder for production incidents, ensuring timely triage and resolution
- Monitor application performance, uptime, and system reliability across environments
- Deploy and configure cloud-native applications in production environments
- Improve observability through enhanced logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Develop and maintain operational playbooks, SOPs, and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to enhance system stability
- Participate in Agile and DevOps ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance for operational excellence
