Requirements
- 5–8 years of progressive SEO experience in a digital agency or in-house environment.
- Strong expertise in both technical SEO and content-driven organic growth strategies.
- Proven experience managing SEO for multi-domain and international websites.
- Deep knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Schema.org.
- Solid understanding of web development principles, site architecture, and search engine crawling behavior.
- Experience with JavaScript SEO and dynamic content rendering considerations.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including experience presenting to senior or executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Fluency in French and English required.
- Strong curiosity about AI, LLMs, and their impact on search behavior and SEO strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, schema implementation, and link-building initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits focused on crawlability, indexability, site architecture, performance, and mobile usability.
- Design content strategies aligned with the buyer journey, identifying gaps and creating high-impact topic clusters for organic growth.
- Create detailed SEO content briefs with structured recommendations including semantic clusters, internal linking, and on-page optimization guidance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on organic performance metrics such as rankings, traffic trends, backlinks, and domain authority.
- Implement and manage tracking tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and tag management systems.
- Support website migrations, redesigns, and platform transitions to ensure SEO continuity and minimal traffic disruption.
- Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to implement technical SEO improvements such as schema markup, hreflang tags, and canonical structures.
- Stay current with algorithm updates, search trends, and AI-driven search evolution, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Provide expert consultation on complex SEO challenges, including international SEO, site architecture, and JavaScript-based rendering issues.
