Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative marketing, lifecycle marketing, copywriting, or organic growth roles within consumer-focused environments.
  • Strong expertise in writing compelling copy for email, SMS, in-app experiences, social media, and customer engagement campaigns.
  • Proven ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging, and relatable messaging.
  • Experience building or evolving brand voice and customer communication strategies in fast-paced or high-growth organizations.
  • Deep understanding of audience engagement, community dynamics, and organic growth channels.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across product, marketing, and design teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage qualitative insights and customer behavior data to inform creative decisions.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative writing, lifecycle campaigns, and brand storytelling experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and evolution of brand voice, tone, and messaging across lifecycle and organic growth channels.
  • Create and optimize customer communications including email campaigns, SMS messaging, push notifications, in-app copy, onboarding flows, and retention programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights to align messaging with user needs and business goals.
  • Build customer trust and engagement through empathetic, human-centered storytelling and value-driven content.
  • Analyze customer feedback, behavioral insights, and qualitative research to improve messaging effectiveness and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute creative organic growth initiatives across channels such as social media, online communities, and content-driven engagement platforms.
  • Contribute to customer retention, brand affinity, and long-term conversion through thoughtful and emotionally resonant communication strategies.
  • Continuously experiment with messaging approaches, audience segmentation, and creative formats to optimize lifecycle performance.
