Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one of: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience designing and building test frameworks from scratch.
- Deep familiarity with API testing including REST, webhooks, and idempotency.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience testing payment flows, ledger systems, or compliance pipelines.
- Understanding of distributed system consistency and out-of-order delivery.
- Experience integrating test suites into CI pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Comfort operating in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
- Strong operational mindset regarding incident management and canary deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design and own test infrastructure for financial-grade systems.
- Develop test automation platforms including API contract and integration tests.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD quality gates to block regressions.
- Model and test failure modes like duplicate charges and webhook replay.
- Conduct performance and load testing on payment flows.
- Manage test data and environment infrastructure for repeatability.
- Track metrics like test coverage, flakiness, and bug escape rates.
