Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of shipping AI-powered capabilities.
- Deep understanding of LLM providers (e.g., Anthropic).
- Experience with prompt design and evaluation workflows.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building scalable, secure, production-ready AI systems.
- Ability to mentor and upskill other engineers.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction and architecture for AI-powered features with an emphasis on maintainability, scalability, and cost control.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI integrations and platform capabilities.
- Establish patterns for prompt design, evaluation workflows, safety guardrails, and observability.
- Build end-to-end AI solutions from model exploration to production integration.
- Act as a technical multiplier by pairing with and mentoring engineers in AI engineering best practices.
- Partner with product management to shape AI initiatives into MVPs and iterative delivery plans.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and availability.
