Requirements
- 10 years of related technical/operational planning and procurement experience.
- Advanced knowledge of HD broadcast standards and future developments.
- In-depth knowledge of equipment technology and procurement processes.
- Expertise in financial, organizational, and logistics planning for media production.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Advanced technical equipment knowledge related to remote operations functions.
- Ability to interpret and apply cost/operational standards.
- High level of proficiency with PC databases, MS Word, and Excel.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational and technical aspects of assigned sports broadcasts.
- Provide guidance and training to Remote Operations Producers and Coordinators.
- Manage on-site personnel, including enforcement of conduct and safety policies.
- Oversee financial planning, budget creation, and maintenance with finance teams.
- Approve time-entry, travel, and overtime for production crews.
- Manage vendor, league, and governing body communications.
- Interpret and implement technical, operational, and cost standards.
- Lead on-site production execution and performance management.
- Ensure technical compliance and proper education for the production team.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of new production technologies.
