Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles.
- Ability to design, develop, and launch a web application from start to finish.
- Experience with at least one major project covering front-end, back-end, and database.
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices.
- Comfortable working outside the context of a framework.
- Experience using git in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new skills independently.
- Get-things-done attitude.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features from production to beyond.
- Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code using OOP.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional colleagues.
- Integrate and build external and internal APIs.
- Develop new products in PHP and modify existing code for scale.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and design schemas.
- Create and code complex backend algorithms.
- Profile and optimize new and legacy code.
- Manage functionality using CSS, Javascript, and open-source technologies.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
