Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development
- 3+ years of experience in SQL
- Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles
- Demonstrable experience with full-stack projects
- Ability to design, develop and launch a web application from scratch
- Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices
- Experience working outside the context of a framework
- Experience using Git in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop end to end features and own them through production
- Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional colleagues
- Integrate and build for internal and external APIs
- Develop and maintain products using PHP
- Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries
- Create and code complex backend algorithms
- Profile and optimize new and legacy code
- Use CSS/Javascript to complete product functionality
- Maintain an agile environment with continuous deployment
