Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of SEO experience
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4
- Proficiency with at least one SEO tool (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)
- Deep understanding of AEO and AI search impact
- Strong written English communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage deadlines
- Strong systems thinking and workflow design skills
- Curiosity about search algorithm updates and testing
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day execution of Darkroom's SEO: on-page optimization, internal linking, metadata, structured data, and content updates
- Conduct keyword research and map search intent to opportunities across the Observatory, case studies, and landing pages
- Architect topic clusters, pillar pages, and refresh cycles
- Run regular technical audits and fix issues across crawlability, site speed, broken links, and schema markup
- Own Darkroom's llms.txt and AEO strategy for AI answer engines
- Build content briefs that pre-load search intent, entity coverage, and competitor angles
- Run co-marketing backlink program and manage partner content calendars
- Maintain a live read on share of voice, SERP movement, and competitor content
- Track organic performance weekly and report on strategic outcomes
- Use AI tools to scale SEO tasks and repeatable workflows
