Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Proven ownership of architecture for multi-service, business-critical platforms.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and data-intensive systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kafka.
- Cloud-native design experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of secure-by-design principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience designing systems at enterprise petabyte-scale.
- Background in regulated industries such as fintech or payments.
- Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and enforce a coherent architectural strategy aligned with product vision.
- Make and defend high-impact design decisions with multi-year implications.
- Lead structural changes to support scale, extensibility, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Partner with Product Management to translate customer needs into architectural requirements.
- Architect resilient, secure-by-design, auditable systems operating at petabyte-scale.
- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into architectural patterns.
- Establish governed integration patterns for AI services.
- Prototype and validate architectural approaches.
- Coach and mentor engineers to elevate architectural capability.
