Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a senior IT systems or SaaS platform engineer.
- Deep hands-on Okta administration including SSO, SCIM, group rules, and authentication policies.
- Okta Certified Administrator or higher strongly preferred.
- Experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, GitHub, and AWS.
- Experience with MDM platforms including Kandji and Intune.
- Comfortable working with IaC frameworks like Terraform.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN).
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles and CIS-style hardening standards.
- Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools to accelerate IT operations.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript).
- Proven ability to evaluate platforms, assess security posture, and make build-vs-buy recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the Help Desk on identity, SaaS, MDM, and authentication issues.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Okta and the broader identity stack.
- Design, configure, and maintain the company's SaaS estate.
- Evaluate, deploy, and govern AI-powered tools and build AI-assisted workflows.
- Partner with automation and infrastructure specialists to contribute low-code automations and scripts.
- Define and refine IT processes and policies including identity lifecycle and access governance.
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
