Requirements
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- 5 or more years of relevant job experience in medical publications
- Experience with manuscripts, posters, abstracts, podium presentations, scientific platforms, and publication extenders
- Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (AMA style)
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines (ICMJE, GPP2022)
- Oncology therapeutic area experience
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
- Project management capability within tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with strategic medical communication recommendations
- Independently lead execution of content development activities
- Supervise Associate Scientific Directors
- Liaise with in-house or freelance staff
- Manage writing and content-related tasks
- Conduct background research
- Perform data-checking and reference annotation
