Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior engineering or product-engineering leadership role at a SaaS company.
- Demonstrable hands-on coding ability with recent production software experience.
- Track record of owning both product roadmap and technical execution.
- Experience scaling a SaaS platform in a regulated industry like healthcare or fintech.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into SaaS products.
- Strong judgment on build vs. buy and refactoring vs. shipping.
- Strong communication skills for executive and board-level interactions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for the O.R. TRAX platform ensuring it is scalable and secure.
- Remain hands-on in the codebase for 20-30% of time.
- Lead platform modernization including infrastructure, APIs, and performance.
- Own product roadmap end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align roadmap with customer needs.
- Champion AI-first product thinking to drive intelligent workflows.
- Build and lead a small engineering team of 5-7 FTEs.
- Establish engineering best practices and delivery rhythms.
