Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (algorithmic complexity, asynchronicity, distributed computing).
- Good knowledge of design and architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes and software testing.
- Experience in shipping pragmatic and high quality solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Track record of technical leadership across teams without formal people management.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity.
- Ability and desire to work in an open and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Build robust, well-designed and effective software that solves complex problems.
- Test, review and deploy code quickly.
- Research, learn and share new techniques for solving complex engineering problems.
- Write tools and develop practices for the engineering team.
- Own projects from end-to-end.
- Analyze and design solutions to business problems.
- Mentor senior engineers, shape technical culture, and raise expectations.
- Contribute to long-term technical strategy while remaining hands-on.
