Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or large-scale technology development environments.
  • Strong background leading enterprise-level technical strategy, platform architecture, and complex system integrations.
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD implementation, cloud-native systems, production platform operations, and performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of security data engineering concepts, including telemetry pipelines, schema governance, logging frameworks, and analytics-driven operations.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation technologies, including secure-by-design practices for agentic or AI-assisted systems.
  • Experience building reusable engineering frameworks, developer enablement tools, and scalable operational “golden path” solutions.
  • Ability to partner effectively with risk, legal, compliance, and privacy teams in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills in distributed and cross-functional organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical architecture and engineering standards for AI-enabled cybersecurity platforms, security operations data systems, and integrated tooling ecosystems.
  • Establish and enforce best practices related to code quality, test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, platform reliability, observability, and secure software engineering.
  • Design governance and safety mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows, ensuring auditability, evidence logging, least-privilege access, and secure operational controls.
  • Lead the development and optimization of large-scale security data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, enrichment, schema governance, and analytics readiness.
  • Oversee tooling integration and lifecycle management by implementing standardized APIs, telemetry, automation, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Support operational excellence through incident readiness planning, system health monitoring, runbook development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor engineers and provide strategic technical leadership across cross-functional teams, acting as a trusted advisor on complex architecture and platform decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, privacy, and operational stakeholders to align technology initiatives with enterprise objectives and risk standards.
