Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar contract administration role.
- Proven experience managing teams or supervising staff in a professional environment.
- Strong expertise in federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and related agency requirements.
- Deep knowledge of multiple contract types, including cost-type contracts and complex government agreements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Preferred certifications such as CFCM or CPCM; law degree is a plus.
- Active or eligible Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, documentation, correspondence, and ongoing contract reporting across multiple business lines.
- Review RFPs and support proposal development and submissions to ensure contractual alignment and compliance with requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and other commercial or government-related contracts.
- Identify contractual risks, interpret obligations, and develop practical solutions to mitigate exposure and support business objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison with executives, internal stakeholders, government representatives, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Provide guidance on complex contractual inquiries and ensure consistent application of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams engaged in subcontractor relationships and broader operational contract execution.
