Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or technical program support, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience with direct team management responsibilities.
- Experience supporting care management, utilization management, or clinical operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strategic direction, prioritize initiatives, and lead execution of complex operational programs.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, managed care, or healthcare operations environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards such as CMS and NCQA preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for meetings and trainings required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of process improvement initiatives supporting clinical health services, care management, and utilization management operations.
- Serve as a key liaison between Clinical Health Services, IT, and Operations to align workflows, systems, and operational priorities.
- Guide teams in prioritizing initiatives, defining execution plans, and delivering complex cross-functional projects.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve operational, clinical, and technical challenges impacting workflow efficiency and organizational performance.
- Oversee and support a team of professionals by providing direction, coaching, accountability, and performance management.
- Drive end-to-end process mapping, redesign, and standardization initiatives to improve consistency, scalability, and compliance.
- Ensure processes align with regulatory, accreditation, and contractual requirements including CMS and NCQA standards.
- Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable operational outcomes.
