Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Practical knowledge of at least one relational database system (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Ability to engage in discussions and decisions regarding software design and architecture.
- Experience implementing the test pyramid (unit, integration, e2e tests).
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey ideas clearly across teams.
- Demonstrated responsibility, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in utilizing security practices effectively.
- Readiness to learn and expand skill set.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Availability in the afternoons for occasional evening meetings with multinational teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement backends and their interactions with various data stores and other APIs (including 3rd party APIs).
- Work in an agile environment focusing on projects that are impactful on our business.
- Support reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making.
- Deploy software using industry-standard tooling like Kubernetes clusters and Lambda functions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues by analyzing code, data, and system behavior.
- Implement robust automated test suites to ensure high quality and low failure rate of delivered code.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Senior Engineers and Architects to turn requirements into high-quality code.
