Requirements
- PhD in Economics, Public Policy, or related Social Science field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in analytical or statistical research.
- 2 years experience with STATA.
- Experience in the analysis of large-scale data sets.
- Expertise in the design of experiments and quasi-experiments.
- Experience in quantitative research on policy-relevant topics.
- Proficiency in advanced methods: fixed effects, regression discontinuity, or instrument variables.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual frameworks + experimental designs that guide project work.
- Manage + analyze large-scale data files for research.
- Serve as client contact for analytical + statistical research expertise.
- Perform policy analysis + develop case studies.
- Conduct site visits + make presentations to government clients.
- Provide leadership in initiating business development activities.
- Design appropriate work assignments in accordance with project scope.
- Assume responsibility for the quality of the work assigned to others.
- Identify potential opportunities through environmental scans.
