Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with scalable systems architecture and performance optimization
- Success in re-architecting complex legacy platforms
- Strong programming experience with Ruby and Python
- Experience with Rails, GraphQL, Django, Sidekiq
- Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data pipelines (SQS, Kafka, Kinesis, Airflow)
- Mastery of API design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture (AWS)
- Fluency in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability frameworks (Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, system design and engineering efforts for high-scale, data-intensive B2B systems
- Design and implement batch and real-time processing architectures
- Drive efforts in database performance optimization, schema design, and long-term scalability
- Partner closely with product, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Identify and lead engineering-wide initiatives that improve scalability and efficiency
- Mentor and coach engineers at all levels
- Contribute to modern, cloud-forward architecture
- Advocate for AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity
- Champion a culture of quality, observability, and reliability
